David Will was a lawyer during the Civil War Era. Towards the end of the Battle of Gettysburg, President Lincoln visited to dedicate a new memorial of the fallen soldiers of the battle at the National Gettysburg Cemetery. President Lincoln stayed at the Will's House the night before his speech. It is here where President Lincoln wrote his historic Gettysburg Address. |  |
